The video shoot is the most demanding part of the production process.
To achieve the most professional production possible, 3North can provide you with a selection of experienced male and female presenters, skilled voiceover talent, or a series of expert interviewers, all at the professional level. We can also provide supplemental help, should you and your colleagues choose to be the talent in the shoot. The goal is, of course, to eliminate time lost due to inexperience or even “stage fright.”
Filming can be a lengthy process. But the time put into the filming will be reflected in the quality of your final copy.
- The director and videographer will work together to achieve all the necessary camera angles for our video editors to work with.
- A typical production crew consists of a director and camera operator. When necessary more videographers, sound operators or other specialists will be provided.
- Depending on the length of your script, filming usually takes between 1 and 3 days.
Production Notes:
Listed below are things to take into consideration for the day of filming:
- Do not change the script the day of the shoot. This can confuse the talent and make for a poor quality production.
- Schedule on-site shoots to coincide with the slowest work week(s) of your schedule. Please keep in mind that too big of an audience can interfere with production value.
- Inform your co-workers that the production is taking place on set days. Please tell them not to slam doors or speak too loudly, as our high quality sound recorders pick up the most acute sounds and background noises.
